Kritisch befaßt sich die Autorin mit der uneinheitlichen Rechtsprechung in Ansehung ausländerrechtlicher Folgen der Straftat. Der Gesichtspunkt der systematischen Handhabung der Problematik wird dahingehend erörtert, ob mittelbare Straftatfolgen bei der Bestimmung des Strafrahmens ("minder schwerer Fall"), auf der Ebene der rahmenausfüllenden Strafbemessung und/oder bei der Modifizierung der endgültig festzulegenden Strafe durch anschließende präventive Überlegungen berücksichtigt werden können. Die Autorin stellt fest, daß mittelbare Straftatfolgen letztlich auf allen drei Ebenen strafmildernd berücksichtigt werden können. Bezüglich der ersten beiden Varianten erfolgt eine vertiefte Auseinandersetzung mit der Frage, ob für den Ausgleich von Schuld auch Gesichtspunkte von Bedeutung sein können, die keinen Einfluß auf das Maß des verschuldeten Unrechts oder das Maß der Vorwerfbarkeit des Täterhandels haben, was im Ergebnis bejaht wird. Hinsichtlich der mittelbaren Straftatfolgen, die Strafcharakter aufweisen, wird eine beliebige Strafmilderung vor dem Hintergrund von Art. 103 Abs. 3 GG ausgeschlossen.

The text of this book has its origins more than twenty- ve years ago. In the seminar of the Dutch Singularity Theory project in 1982 and 1983, the second-named author gave a series of lectures on Mixed Hodge Structures and Singularities, accompanied by a set of hand-written notes. The publication of these notes was prevented by a revolution in the subject due to Morihiko Saito: the introduction of the theory of Mixed Hodge Modules around 1985. Understanding this theory was at the same time of great importance and very hard, due to the fact that it uni es many di erent theories which are quite complicated themselves: algebraic D-modules and perverse sheaves. The present book intends to provide a comprehensive text about Mixed Hodge Theory with a view towards Mixed Hodge Modules. The approach to Hodge theory for singular spaces is due to Navarro and his collaborators, whose results provide stronger vanishing results than Deligne's original theory. Navarro and Guill en also lled a gap in the proof that the weight ltration on the nearby cohomology is the right one. In that sense the present book corrects and completes the second-named author's thesis.

Insbesondere bei der Einordnung von Mobilfunkanlagen in den beplanten Innenbereich kommen die Gerichte zu widersprüchlichen Ergebnissen. Für die Mobilfunkbetreiber bedeutet das einen erheblichen Verlust an Planungs- und Investitionssicherheit und erschwert den Aufbau eines flächendeckenden Mobilfunknetzes.Christina Niederstetter trifft in der vorliegenden Publikation eine Einordnung der Mobilfunkanlagen in das System des Bauplanungsrechts. Hierzu erfolgt eine rechtliche Analyse der divergierenden Argumentationslinien in der Rechtsprechung. The experimental data provided a unique basis for assessing the capabilities of six different simulation platforms for numerical simulation of soil liquefaction. The results of the experiments and the numerical simulations are presented and discussed in papers submitted by the project participants.

Electrical overstress (EOS) and Electrostatic discharge (ESD) pose one of the most dominant threats to integrated circuits (ICs). These reliability concerns are becoming more serious with the downward scaling of device feature sizes. Modeling of Electrical Overstress in Integrated Circuits presents a comprehensive analysis of EOS/ESD-related failures in I/O protection devices in integrated circuits.
The design of I/O protection circuits has been done in a hit-or-miss way due to the lack of systematic analysis tools and concrete design guidelines. In general, the development of on-chip protection structures is a lengthy expensive iterative process that involves tester design, fabrication, testing and redesign. When the technology is changed, the same process has to be repeated almost entirely. This can be attributed to the lack of efficient CAD tools capable of simulating the device behavior up to the onset of failure which is a 3-D electrothermal problem. For these reasons, it is important to develop and use an adequate measure of the EOS robustness of integrated circuits in order to address the on-chip EOS protection issue. Fundamental understanding of the physical phenomena leading to device failures under ESD/EOS events is needed for the development of device models and CAD tools that can efficiently describe the device behavior up to the onset of thermal failure.
Modeling of Electrical Overstress in Integrated Circuits is for VLSI designers and reliability engineers, particularly those who are working on the development of EOS/ESD analysis tools. CAD engineers working on development of circuit level and device level electrothermal simulators will also benefit from the material covered. This book will also be of interest to researchers and first and second year graduate students working in semiconductor devices and IC reliability fields.
