Yet at the same time there is evidence that Allied supplies may have made it possible for the Soviets to occupy central and Eastern Europe and so dominate those countries for half a century of the Cold War.

I wrote the book Salt and Light because I am deeply concerned about the kind of America my grandchildren will grow up in. Will they enjoy the blessings of liberty and the opportunity for prosperity that accompany a society built on God's social order? Or will they live under the oppression and tyranny of a statist government that inevitably and invariably grows from social chaos? We still have a choice. Salt and Light is a practical guide to ensuring the former, thus avoiding the latter.
