This update for version 26H1 does not contain new features or something specific, and instead, focuses on "a small set of general improvements.
As a reminder, Windows 11 26H1 is the only H1 release in four years of Windows 11's existence. Shortly after releasing Windows 11 version 25H2 to all users, Microsoft started testing version 26H1 in the Canary Channel. The update is intended to work as a "platform update" for certain processors. Microsoft does not say what processors it has in mind, but rumors say that Windows 11 version 26H1 will be an exclusive release for Snapdragon X2 Elite processors, and its launch is scheduled for the first half of 2026, as the name suggests.

Together with Abelssoft, Chip Magazine has developed its own browser for online banking, with which you can secure your online transactions. The "Chip Banking Browser" blocks all unknown websites in banking mode. Phishing sites have no chance as they are not on the whitelist and are therefore not loaded. To protect against keyloggers, an on-screen keyboard can also be started via the keyboard icon.

The browser already offers a large number of banks that you can activate by default. However, if your bank is not included, you can simply add it. This address is then added to the whitelist and can also be accessed in secure banking mode. If you deactivate this mode, you can surf as normal with the "Chip BankingBrowser". The advantage over other browsers: No data is collected.

Executor is a multi purpose launcher sporting many optional customizable features and advanced setup. The program originated as I was sick of spending too much time searching for programs through my ever growing windows start-menu, and eye-balling desktop trying to mouse locate what ever I wanted to launch.
