This update for version 26H1 does not contain new features or something specific, and instead, focuses on "a small set of general improvements.

As a reminder, Windows 11 26H1 is the only H1 release in four years of Windows 11's existence. Shortly after releasing Windows 11 version 25H2 to all users, Microsoft started testing version 26H1 in the Canary Channel. The update is intended to work as a "platform update" for certain processors. SecretDNS provides a quick means of implementing DNS over HTPS, meaning it allows performing remote DNS (short for Domain Name Server) resolution using the HTTPS protocol to encrypt the data between the client and the DNS resolver.
