Syn'X 2 is a Polytimbral Synthesizer inspired by the synthesis part of a legendary Italian Synthesizer from the 80's, while its multi-layer card-based architecture is inspired by sophisticated hardware analog monsters like the Oberheim Matrix 12.

The Sound
It offers the striking combination of clear and punchy DCOs with cutting multimode modeled analog filters like its ancestor, one of the last Vintage Polyphonic Analog Synthesizers, and a piece of Synthesis history, including the famous BBD Chorus!
And because it's multitimbral, you can use up to 16 oscillators, 8 0df Analog Filters, 32 DADSR envelopes and Modulation Matrixes addressing any of the 132 possible destinations to build your own patches, when the 300 Factory Library Presets are not enough.

XILS-lab X-201, Vocoder . and vintage MultiEffect
An exceptional clarity: The X201 Vocoder was modeled after an ultra rare, ultra pricey (even at the time of its release), Vocoder unit, whose intelligibility has never been surpassed.

It's the missing link between artists like Kraftwerk, Herbie Hancock, Frank Farian (Boney M, Milli Vanilli etc.), Cylon Robots or Droids in Battlestar Galactica droids in Star Wars and. Daft Punk (RAM)
Two Filter Banks: Each of its two Filter Banks offer 20 frequency bands. Each Filter Bank can process the incoming signal (Usually voice, but any other signal, including drums, can be processed), or the CARRIER signal. As a comparison, the Roland VP-330 only had 10 frequency bands, with a very musical sound, at the price of much less clarity.
The Carrier: Ypu can use the internal analog Synthesizer as a carrier, which immediately gives the X201 its characteristic and recognisable sound. Any other incoming signal can also be used, like an external Synthesizer, another voice etc.
The Silence Bridging: This exotic title hosts a Multiband frequency dependent Envelope Follower engine, which will shapes the signal gain according to it's harmonic content. It's very useful for processing percussive or rhythmic sonic material, or contour to the sound.
So how does it work -in any DAW-? Usual scenario: You record your voice, even without actually singing, then choose the internal synth as the Carrier. Then you send Midi notes to the Carrier to make your voice sing those notes (or chords, because the engine is polyphonic). Et voilà.
More is more: On the X201, we exposed internal circuitry parameters that were not available on the original unit, making it more versatile, and powerful.
We also added some vintage analog modeled effects: Chorus, Phaser, Delay and an early 'digital' reverb unit. You can also configure custom effect routing and order.
As a Multi-FX: You can also use the X201 as a simple Filter Bank/Chorus/Phaser/Delay/Reverb Multi-Effect. Try it on a Rhodes, Clavinet or String Machine patch, and rediscover these vintage organic sounds that required a long chain of vintage effects.

The XILS 4 emulates a prototype that was never released, the EMS VCS4, based on two integrated, interlinked and interacting VCS 3 (Synthi) cores. We also coupled them with the famous 256 analog poly-sequencer.

You are able to provide an application specific mappings, which means one application can use the mouse differently from another. This is useful for games which do not inherently support the extended mouse buttons, because you can map keys to each button.

IntroductionHello everyone welcome to my latest class. I'm Jen Lezan and I'll be your teacher for this course. I'm a freelance graphic designer, illustrator and educator based out of the midwest and I run Bella + Sophia Creative studio. In addition to my creative work, I've been teaching as an adjunct professor in higher ed for nearly 10 years. A stat from the Book: Brain Longevity, that I share with my marketing students at the university that always blows their minds is that the average American sees 16,000+ advertisements, logos and labels in ONE DAY.Reuters proclaimed in the 90s that mankind has produced more information in the last 30 year than in the previous 5000. Mind you, that was over 20 years ago and with the advent and growth of social media, I am sure that number has increased EXPONENTIALLY.With that being said, since we are producing so much more information than in the past, we are seeing branding and logos that are increasingly similar to one another. This poses a problem for companies that retrying to differentiate themselves visually, but it also creates a fun opportunity for designers and other creatives to create iconic identities. With the advent of sites like Creative Market, it also offers businesses the opportunity to design branding in a budget friendly or DIY kind of way. Personally, as a freelance designer I don't think these sites are putting designers out of business, they're disrupting the industry and making us rethink our business models.Of course, as creative business people or small business owners who might just be starting out or don't have the traditional design chops, you may want to be able to brand yourselves in a way that makes sense to you. Get started with Character Design and Development by learning the basics of 3D and using Simple Shapes. After finding and using the best shapes for our design, we'll begin discovering how to manipulate and adjust them into the look we're after. In this case, a cute carrot. Even the most simple 3D sculpts can actually be quite complicated depending on how much fine detail you want to put in. The good thing is that is what makes 3D with Nomad Sculpt fun! - We'll then move into adding eyes, eye lashes, and details to get it looking a bit more "real". - Setting up our carrot with the most flattering lighting possible and then adding color. Feel free to experimentwith colors and textures! Remember, this is your art so you don't have to follow everything that I do. Rogues are welcome!- Once we've finished with coloring and lighting we can start post processing and adjust the scene and character before export. Exporting or "Rendering" means you've successfully created your first 3D character! Or maybe it isn't your first, but I hope you learned some new tricks and ways of thinking throughout! The ideas and ways of thinking are most of what I want to leave you with...shapes are very easy to make, so just think of everything as shapes or part of shapes. Shapes within shapes even. I've found that even the most complicated sculpts aren't so bad when I just break them down into one shape after another. Veggies for instance: A grape is pretty much a sphere. Banana is a stretched sphere. Cucumber slice is a cylinder. A snow cone is a cone with a sphere on top. As you continue to sculpt more and more you'll find the shapes much easier and your sculpting will get faster and faster.
